Baconsdozen, mail order and auctions of good quality, imperial and metric tools.

we sell cheaper so you pay less.

Most tool makers now regard Whitworth,BSF and BA wrenches, spanners, sockets, taps and dies etc as obsolete.AF spanners, sockets, drills and other tools are now going the same way.If you own a classic car or motorcycle or work with machinery from myford lathes to tiger moth planes made in an age before planned obsolescence became the norm,I still sell a large range of suitable imperial tools, some of which are still British made.I have a large range of new,old stock tools and ones still being manufactured today.

I have a range of hand and power tools, servicing and repair equipment here  or in my shop at EBAY auctions. Some have genuine 99p reserves so there's the chance of a real bargain but because of ebay and paypals high commission charges you might pay MORE at auction than buying direct, mail me for a price on any of my tools you see at Ebay.I can ship anywhere in the world

Imperial tools are slowly becoming obsolete, along with feet and inches, old imperial tools in as new condition become scarcer and more expensive as time passes especially those by quality British makers,so don't delay if you need them, buy now.

Sockets and socket sets. Hub and injector sockets.

Spanners, spanner sets and other hand tools

Whitworth/BSF and BA spanners and sockets.

Mail or phone for a price on the tools I have on sale at Ebay.No need to wait for an auction to finish. All major credit card accepted.

Bidding at an online auction? Auction do's and don'ts. .

Buying tools (or anything else at auction) could land you a bargain, the rating system means you get to read what others think of the deals they've had from the vendor. The variety of things on offer means you might pick up anything from new spares for your classic car or a set of pre war whitworth spanners. However Ebay and other auction sites offer rich pickings for con men and fraudsters so take care.

Don't rely on ebay or paypal to bail you out if you've been conned, usually they don't want to know.Use a credit card to pay for your win,it's quicker and safer.

If it sounds too good to be true,it probably isn't true.

If you don't want, need or use them, then no matter how cheap tools are, they aren't a bargain

No contact details for the vendor? What do you do if your 'bargain tool' is faulty.?

Auction seller ratings should be a good guide to other bidders experiences, but remember it's possible to buy good 'feedback',on ebay for example without any sale taking place.

Decide the maximum price you want to bid up to,then stick to it. There's another day and more auctions tomorrow.

Inflated carriage charges is one popular rip off, people getting bogus bidders to run the price up,another.

Tool and machinery auctions should save you money ,but not at the expense of service, guarantee or quality etc..

I don't sell cheap,cheap tools,I sell tools cheaper.
